What's happening in NEXUS?

In February, students in all grades Students watched a video story about SodaPOP Head by Julia Cook in which siblings fought. Then, students in class had to choose a worksheet to list their triggers that would get them in the a specific Zone of Regulation zone. 

Upper grades wrote their triggers, and younger grades showed what their bodies of faces look like in each zone.  Photos of some students working and their work found here. 

In January, grades 3-5 explored different tools and reflected on what zones those tools would help them in. Grades K-2 watched video clips containing unexpected behaviors and reflected on how those behaviors made others feel.
