Run Medford 2024

Come join the Medford community at the Run Medford event!  Legendary Medford High School graduate, Dave McGillivray, the director of the Boston Marathon, will be running the events. 

The 3rd annual Run Medford event will be on 9/27/24 and 9/28/24. There are events for ALL AGES! Register for any event and join Team Missituk here.

50% of your race registration fees go to the school, and 100% of sponsor donations go to the Missituk PTO to help fund field trips, enrichment programs, and more. 

This event will begin on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Hormel Stadium. The kids Fun Runs begin at 5:15PM. PTO Website link is here.

Starting and finishing at Medford City Hall, the 5-mile race and 2-mile walk are scenic tours through the heart of the city. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a weekend jogger, the course was created for all ability levels. 

The kids’ races are age-dependent distances: 1/3 mile, 2/3 mile, and 1 mile, starting and finishing on the track at Hormel Stadium. The youth who are participating in the Dream Big Marathon will run their final mile together. (Information taken from the Run Medford website)

2 laps - 7-8 years old
3 laps - 9-10 years old
4 laps - 11-12 years old
